Delivery is currently FREE within mainland UK on orders over £25 and £3.00 under £25. We process your order right away. Most in-stock orders are delivered within 7 business days in the UK, worldwide orders do take longer. US orders usually take up to 2 weeks, please email for other countries. UK next day delivery is available on orders placed before 2pm being able to be delivered on the next working day, Monday to Thursday. Orders placed after this time will be processed the following day. Orders placed before 2pm on a Friday requiring 24 hour delivery will be delivered on the following Monday whilst those placed after 2pm will be processed on the Monday. Saturday deliveries are available, please contact us for the additional cost.

Returns

Hideout Leather must be informed immediately upon receipt of goods if they arrive damaged. Unused merchandise, in its original packaging may be returned within 21 days of receipt. A levy of 30% will be charged for goods not returned in their original packaging.

If you are unhappy or wish to exchange your purchase you can return any item and we will happily replace or refund it for you.

All faulty items are guaranteed under the relevant manufacturer’s warrantee. All faulty items are returned to the manufacture for assessment.

Faulty Goods

Goods that have been used cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are defective, in which case they will be covered by the manufacturer warranty. Please return them to us with clear instructions as to the problem. Costs of returning faulty goods will be reimbursed by Hideout.

All refunds must be supported by the original sales documents.

Proof of posting is not proof of receipt, please use a suitable insured courier, the goods belong to you until we receive them. Please do not send back without contact details and your instructions.

Returns postage will only be paid if goods are faulty or there has been an error by Hideout Leather.

We will credit your account on receipt of goods.

Tax

For domestic orders from within the UK and to private individuals within the EU VAT is charged where applicable. The only products that are exempt are motorcycle helmets (helmet spares and accessories attract VAT at the current rate). The current rate of VAT as of 4th January is 20%. Businesses from within the EU can order without VAT but we need to verify your VAT number first. Only after verification will we send the goods without VAT being charged as per EU directive. VAT on goods depends on the point of supply. If the goods are delivered outside the EU they are normally exempt from VAT.For orders to BFPO addresses please contact us, as the VAT will depend on the final destination.

Orders from outside the UK

Currently, due to the rise in fraudulent overseas orders, our system does not allow for orders placed outside the U.K. mainland.

Please note that the definition of the UK is “The United Kingdom Of Great Britain mainland and Northern Ireland”. Orders to Crown Dependencies such as the Channel Islands and the Isle Of Man can only be taken by telesales due to issues such as VAT and shipping.
